What the Club offers you:
So, all year round, at City and County, you can play bowls and enjoy the Club's many facilities (including good changing rooms with lockers and an ample car-park for members.
We don't just cater for bowlers with more serious interests in the sport but also for members who just want to bowl for fun. This means that, on the one hand, you'll find there is a full programme of bowls events, varying from national (Bowls England) to county (OBA). club competitive and friendly matches. But, on the other hand, you'll find several opportunities to enjoy roll-ups or friendly games of triples - all good opportunities to bowl and meet other club members socially.
In addition there is a varied programme of social functions such as bingo, whist, christmas draw, barbecues, horse race nights, theatre trips and informal dinners, all of which help to raise funds for the club. See our Social Events page by clicking here.
